6: How can we close the development gap? - a closer look at how tourism in Djibouti and Fairtrade farming in Kenya can close the gap
7: How is population changing? - introduces natural increase and migration
8: What is the difference between migrants and refugees? - explores migration patterns in the Horn through a reading text, and looks at refugees fleeing to the Horn
9: What is desertification? - introduces the challenge of desertification
