KS3 Drama SOW PowerPoint Murder Mystery

This is a KS3 Scheme of Work/ Programme of Study for a Murder Mystery project called Darkwood Manor. It’s a 6 to 8 week programme of study. There is a Student Work Booklet to accompany the PowerPoint to help you show evidence of learning taking place.
Darkwood is fun and enthusiastic project with flexible tasks that allows students to develop their creativity for characters roles and story lines etc. The general plot is – A manor house is up for sale, the owners need to prove it is not haunted, there a competition for the general public to spend a night in the manor and report back their findings.
The project starts with developing characters, exploring the rooms, getting the local villagers point of views and then planning a final performance to showcase their findings. The slides are Task to Task so you can go at your own pace depending on the learners. There is SEND support, teaching resources, links to YouTube videos - everything you can think of. The PowerPoint is easy to read/not cluttered, ideal for non-specialists or new to teaching.
