Job overview

You don’t need any teaching experience for this role, but you’ll need aeronautical industry experience or worked as a B Licence engineer in a maintenance repair organisation (MRO).  This is your chance to share your knowledge, inspire the next generation, and see students flourish.

What you’ll be doing

  •     delivering CAA approved practical experience sessions. 
  •     overseeing the effective set up and outstanding workshop environment for our students’, ensuring tooling is available.
  •     prepare teaching resources. 
  •     ensuring that our students get access to the facilities and training required to complete CAA Part 66 modules.

You’ll need to 

  •     be enthusiastic, with a passion for the sector.
  •     be supportive, patient and approachable.
  •     come from an aeronautical background of instructing students towards a B Licence or worked as a B Licence engineer in an MRO. 
  •     have experience of instructing trainee engineers.
  •     preferably have worked as a B Licence engineer in an MRO and hold a B Licence.

 * salary range includes a £6,000 supplement for skills shortage areas.
