The successful applicant will be passionate about education. They will be well organised and willing to go the ‘extra mile’ and will be focussed on the attainment of all pupils. They will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and may be starting out as an ECT, or have a proven track record of successful teaching in the Early Years Foundation. They will be committed to moving the Academy forward.

Mossbourne Parkside Academy (MPA) is offers nursery and primary provision for learners aged 3 to 11. MPA’s calm working atmosphere creates well-rounded individuals who excel in the arts, on the sporting field and academically. All learners, regardless of ability, benefit from the innovative and enlightened approaches to teaching and learning within the Federation.
MPA provides children with a happy and caring learning environment, with high expectations of behaviour and manners throughout the academy. Since joining the Mossbourne Federation in 2016, MPA has been transformed, achieving its first-ever ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in 2021. Housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of Hackney, MPA is close to London Overground stations, providing a no-fuss commute for colleagues living in other London boroughs. London’s fashionable ‘East and West Ends’, are also only a short distance away.
