Job overview
Batley Multi Academy Trust’s sole purpose is to provide an outstanding education through our family of schools. Batley Multi Academy Trust currently comprises Batley Girls’ High School and Upper Batley High School and we are in the process of expansion with a primary school set to join us imminently.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Educational Teaching Assistant to join our Trust, based at Healey Junior, Infant and Nursery School.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team including teaching and other support staff to support the learning and welfare of student/learners. This will include the provision of practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and integration.
The successful applicant will have significant previous experience of working with children/young people, have excellent numeracy and literacy skills and be educated to A level standard (or equivalent). NVQ 3 for Teaching assistants or equivalent qualifications would be preferable, as would previous experience of assisting classroom teachers in delivering the curriculum and supporting students’ learning in a school setting.
