Raine’s Foundation School is seeking to appoint a dynamic Headteacher to build on its strong heritage and lead this Church of England Secondary School into an exciting new chapter in its history.
Founded almost 300 years ago, Raine’s Foundation School has a proud and successful heritage in educating the young people of Bethnal Green and the surrounding areas. As it approaches its tercentenary, it is also looking to the future.
Our new Headteacher will have the drive, vision and stamina combined with the management skills to lead their staff team to:
- ensure that every student, at every level, achieves their full potential and makes excellent progress
- make sure that the school is judged at least “good” at its next inspection
- take advantage of external changes in the educational landscape locally and more widely; and
- have the vision and integrity to lead the school in short and longer term development.
The Headteacher and her/his staff team will be able to rely upon the support of the Board of Governors and their wide range of educational, management and professional skills in achieving these objectives.
