Grade 7 

35 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8:15am – 4:15pm Term time + 5 INSET days)

The advert is seeking an outstanding and inspirational classroom practitioner for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 who will be able to fit into a committed team. 

We are looking to appoint either a qualified HLTA or an experienced learning support assistant willing to work towards the qualification. We are looking for someone who will be able to deliver Art & Design and Technology during PPA cover .We are looking to appoint someone with the ability and willingness to work as part of a team and offer flexibility in supporting individual children, or small groups within a classroom setting.

The role may also require you to provide cover for class teachers, this could be during their PPA time or in the event of absences. We have the opportunity to be flexible with the details of this appointment as we are keen to recruit the right person for our school.

Have experience of covering classes, delivering PPA times or teaching groups of pupils

Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills whilst remaining calm and patient 

Be willing to be flexible and demonstrate strong teamwork skills 

Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills 

Confidently adapting the curriculum to meet their needs of all pupils 

Have GCSE Grade C English and Maths or equivalent

 School visits: Visits and conversations with the Headteacher are strongly recommended.
