At Blessed Dominic Catholic Primary School, all children are treated with dignity and respect. It is a feature of our family school that children settle quickly and flourish in our nurturing care. All relationships throughout the school build on one another's confidence and self-esteem and as a consequence, even pupils new to the school, quickly feel secure and cherished.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and are excited to join our thriving school community, we encourage you to apply for this role.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Can develop positive relationships with young children and support their learning and development
  • Challenge and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
  • Has experience working with children who have special educational needs
  • Can implement strategies recommended by professionals
  • Has experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant within a Primary School
  • A commitment to the provision of high quality education for all children
  • Has a positive can-do attitude and is a forward thinker
  • Can lead targeted interventions to address specific areas of need
  • Has knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Willing to support and uphold the Catholic ethos of the school
  • Enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
  • Has a high standard of spoken English

What We Offer:

  • A happy and successful school with a vibrant, diverse, and caring community
  • High-quality professional development opportunities
  • Supportive and hardworking staff who go the extra mile for the children
  • Happy and content pupils who love coming to school and enjoy their learning
  • A committed and supportive Senior leadership team and Governing Body

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed. Please telephone the school on 020 8205 3790 to make an appointment.
