LRC Assistant
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Flexible – within the hours of 09:30 and 13:00 each day
This is an exciting, non-teaching, post - ideal for someone with a passion for books and literacy who wants to work with young people, supporting them in their school life.
You will work closely with our amazing LRC Manager, English Department and Literacy Leads to promote and support reading for pleasure. Alongside the LRC Manager, you will ensure that the LRC is an attractive and welcoming environment and will assist with providing reading support to identified groups of students – both within the LRC and English lessons.
You will be expected to work effectively with the whole school community – both internally and externally.
Training in school systems and practices will be provided.
