Job overview

This exciting role is available from September 2025 at one of the most progressive schools in Devon. Kingsley School has undergone significant change and investment in recent years with new leadership structures in place supporting an empowered and passionate staff who deliver a unique curriculum in a very special learning environment. The opening of our new SEND Connect Centre in September creates the need for an additional staff member to join this dedicated team of educators.

Our bespoke SEND centre offers a bespoke curriculum to students in KS2-4 with moderate to severe learning difficulties, typically ASD and Global Developmental Delay. Class sizes of up to 8 (ratio 4:1) enable students to make good progress while also attending lessons in the core provision wherever they are able to.

We are seeking a passionate teacher with experience teaching students with SEND to join the next stage of Kingsley's exciting journey. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing our unique bespoke curriculum and ensuring the very best possible learning outcomes for our student.

A specialism in teaching English, mathematics or science to the students in our centre, or experience delivering ASDAN courses would be an advantage.

This is your opportunity to join the Kingsley Family on its journey to becoming the number one school of choice in the south-west. Kingsley is a school that likes to break the mould and is seeking someone who equally likes to think differently and do things differently as part of a community that really does embrace its location in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK on the North Devon coast.
