Welcome to North Bridge Enterprise College. Since our opening in 2013, we have dedicated ourselves to providing a safe and nurturing educational environment for pupils who have faced, or are at risk of, permanent exclusion from mainstream education due to challenging behaviours. Our mission is to re-engage students in their learning, with a strong focus on preparing them for post-16 opportunities.

Aims

At North Bridge, our aim is clear: "Providing a pathway to engage, educate, and empower." We strive to deliver an excellent education while supporting our pupils as they re-establish their connection with learning. We empower them to build their self-esteem and identity, enabling them to reach their full potential. Our goal is to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment that offers the best possible education and opportunities, ensuring our students are well-prepared for the challenges of post-16 education and beyond.

What makes North Bridge unique is our personalised learning environment. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to create a warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere, offering a broad and inspiring curriculum. We maintain high academic expectations for all our pupils and are committed to providing a curriculum that both inspires and challenges them.

Pupils

We cater to pupils aged 14-16 years, both male and female, who are at risk of or have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools. The reasons for exclusion can vary, but they often stem from challenging behaviours that we are equipped to address.

Areas of Expertise

Our fully qualified and experienced staff bring a diverse range of subject specialisms and training to our college. We offer vocational courses in areas such as Food Technology, Media, and Uniformed Services, and we are continually expanding our curriculum to align with the interests and needs of our pupils. At North Bridge Enterprise College, we are dedicated to providing a holistic educational experience that supports the growth and development of every student.

At North Bridge Enterprise College, we are proud to work with young people who benefit from a personalised, supportive, and bespoke educational experience. Every learner who joins us brings unique strengths, aspirations, and potential, and it is our privilege to help them rediscover a sense of belonging, purpose, and success.

While our new specialist premises are being developed, we are currently based at the Eco Power Stadium. We provide a safe and nurturing learning environment designed to re-engage students in their education. We are committed to offering opportunities both in and beyond the traditional classroom.

We hold high expectations for all our young people. With the right environment, relationships, and support, we know every learner can thrive. Our goal is clear: to equip our young people with the skills, confidence, and qualifications they need to make the greatest possible life choices post-16.
