This is a brilliant opportunity to work with our supportive and inclusive team here at St. Leonard’s school. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of Learning Support Assistants. The role will involve working closely with class teachers and the school SENCO to support individual SEND students to enable learning. We require a Learning Support Assistant to work 32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30- 3:30pm, term time only.
You will need to be flexible and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills. You will need to demonstrate competence in supporting students within a learning environment to encourage them to achieve and make good progress.

Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, identity and safeguarding checks and will be probationary for the first 6 months. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

St Leonard’s Church of England Primary School is a mixed CofE primary school and nursery, situated in Streatham, south-west London. The school has approximately 204 pupils aged 3-11.
St Leonard’s CE Primary School was founded in 1813. The school opened its nursery and took its first two forms of Reception-aged children in September 2016. It has a partnership with the Lambeth Music Service and provides opportunities for learning musical instruments, along with singing, acting and dancing.
