We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified 2nd Line IT Technician to work for EdAct at one of its busy Enfield Schools, which has a reputation for providing outstanding support for staff and students.

As a 2nd Line IT Technician, you’ll be responsible for the monitoring and maintaining IT systems including remote working solutions. Working closely with other technicians to provide support for teaching and associate staff relating to IT resources within the Trust ensuring that the curriculum and administrative IT function runs smoothly. 

Applicants should possess strong customer services skill and a solid understanding of the fundamental principles for delivery IT services. Familiarity with a Windows and Hyper V environment is highly desirable, as is proven knowledge of software and hardware troubleshooting. Familiarity with project management principles will also be desirable.

Hours: 36 hours per week x 52 weeks per annum

Actual Salary Range: £27,855 - £29,583 p.a. inclusive (Scale 4)

Edmonton County School is a co-educational, non-denominational, community all-through school in Enfield, Middlesex. The school is split across two campuses, with the primary phase located on Bury Street and the secondary facilities on Great Cambridge Road. There are about 1,687 children aged 4-18 on the school roll, 278 of whom attend the sixth form.
