ACES COMPLIANCE TECHNICIAN
ACES are looking for a friendly and motivated Maintenance Technician/Compliance Person to join our established team. The role will ensure our estates are a safe environment for the students and staff and that they conform to the requirements as laid out under the Health and Safety legislation. The person we are looking for will have the ability to work independently with confidence and thrive on problem solving.

Working pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 08:00 am - 16:00 pm, Friday 08:00 am - 13:30 pm, 30 minute unpaid break.
Salary: Scale 5 points 12-17, namely £26,421 - £28,770 per annum (increasing with length of service)

About you:
We are seeking an experienced individual who can share our values and would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to young people’s lives.
- 10 years’ experience as a maintenance person (preferred).
- Knowledge of plantrooms and how they work.
- Knowledge or understanding of a wide range of traditional building trades.
- Knowledge or understanding of compliance, health & safety at work, particularly moving and handling techniques and COSHH.
- Have the ability to manage the resolution of issues.
- Have strong verbal communication skills and ability to complete basic administrative tasks.
- Knowledge or understanding of the education sector.
- A valid driving licence is required for this role with own vehicle.
