The City of London Academy Shoreditch Park is a brand new secondary school which opened in September 2017. It is currently based in a modern, modular, purpose built building and will move to its permanent home in a brand new building in Shoreditch Park in September 2020.
In nature, ethos and approach the school will be modelled on the ‘outstanding’ The City Academy, Hackney which is renowned for achieving world class standards for its students. We intend to quickly establish the City of London Academy Shoreditch Park as a centre of excellence for secondary education in the south of the borough as The City Academy, Hackney is in the East.
At the City of London Academy Shoreditch Park students are expected to work hard and to show dedication and commitment to their studies. In return, we provide fantastic academic, creative, sporting, linguistic, and personal educational experiences. This ‘City of London Experience’ is delivered through outstanding teaching and with the support of the sponsor, the City of London Corporation. There is also a real and continuing emphasis on personal skills and the development of values that all young people need to be successful.
