Dubai Heights Academy is a warm and welcoming place to work. Located in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai, this is an exciting opportunity for an outgoing, energetic and proactive Admissions Manager.

The school opened in 2017. It offers an inclusive, exciting and outstanding education to an international community of students from FS1 to Year 11 (2024-2025) and will continue to grow organically to Year 13.

The campus is state-of-the-art with separate buildings for each phase as well as a 380 seat auditorium. There are three temperature controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialist rooms for art, DT, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full size football pitch, a variety of outdoor play areas, a coffee shop and a spacious canteen with a new secondary building opening in 2024/25.

Dubai Heights Academy has an opening for a dynamic Admissions Manager who will work closely with the admissions administrator, marketing manager and customer experience lead.

The role will involve but is not limited to, the following:

  • First Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for prospective families by extending a warm and professional welcome to all visitors. Respond to all queries by ensuring exceptional levels of communication and customer service.
  • School Tours: Coordinate and conduct school tours, providing insights into our programs and facilities and highlighting distinguishing features of the school. Design a school tour experience ensuring parents see the relevant and key areas of the school. Conduct follow-up calls and emails to prospective families after visits and tours.
  • Meet enrolment targets: Lead the admissions team to meet projected enrolment targets and identify areas for improvement that can enhance enrolment.
  • Admissions Process: Manage the end-to-end admissions process, from initial inquiries and applications to assessments and enrolment. Guide parents through the admissions process successfully communicating the school's vision and unique selling points. Keep detailed records of applications, monitor progress, and communicate with applicants throughout the process.
  • Assessments and Taster days: Organise and manage CAT4 and EYFS and Key Stage 1 assessments and follow up on review of results with senior management. Organise taster days and open days in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records and databases using Open Apply CRM. Weekly reconciliation with iSAMS data manager to ensure records are up to date. Provide accurate and timely reports during admissions meetings that reflect the status of all enquires and enrolments.
  • Collaboration with all stakeholders: Liaise with teachers and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to facilitate a smooth transition for new families, including addressing any specific student needs.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with marketing activities and events to promote the school and increase enrolment through events and developing partnerships with nurseries and relocation agencies.
  • Leavers Log: Maintain a log of students leaving the school, including reasons for departure, to inform retention strategies.
  • Strategic support: Proactively contribute to the evolution of admission systems and support with strategic decision-making to improve enrolments.


The successful applicant will be required to have the following: 

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field
  • Previous experience in admissions or a related field within an educational setting
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to actively pursue and convert interests to enrolments
  • Strong understanding of the school's admission policies and procedures, including admission criteria, application processes and deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and database management systems in addition to experience with admissions software
  • Knowledge of local (KHDA) and federal (MOE) regulations in relation to school admissions
  • Ability to set and achieve enrolment targets
  • Effective written and verbal communications
  • Familiarity with marketing and recruitment strategies
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • A creative, tenacious, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure
