Job overview

Ealing Independent College wishes to appoint an experienced and professional Admissions Registrar & Marketing Assistant to join our team.

The College focuses on bringing out the best in students by providing a supportive environment where students are challenged academically and monitored closely in a pastoral sense. Positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do, whether between students, staff or parents, and we are looking for someone who shares this ethos.

Following consistently strong performance year on year, a value added score of +0.60 in 2017 placed the College in the top 30 schools in the country for improving grades. The College produced its best results ever in 2015 with 32% of A-Level students having achieved AAB or higher in at least two facilitating subjects, whilst a third of departing students in the sixth form secured places at Russell Group universities.

Though A Level comprises the majority of the student body, our GCSE cohort (year 9, 10 and 11) is expanding, with an additional group of students following an intensive GCSE course over one year. Class sizes are small, with 5-12 students in a group, enabling staff to differentiate effectively and teach the individual, whilst having the time to provide a high standard of specific feedback which can make a measurable difference to student performance in a short period of time.

The college is looking for an experienced and professional Admissions Registrar & Marketing Assistant to join our team. The core purpose of this role is to be a representative of the College’s values and ethos, promote the Ealing Independent College brand and tailor the needs of individual parents and students in order to sell the college to prospective families.

The successful applicant will be able to plan ahead, have excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with ISAMs. The post would suit someone with knowledge of the independent education sector.

The post is a full time permanent position with a salary range of £30,000 to £33,000 per annum. We offer 25 days holiday per year (to be taken during college holidays) plus bank holidays. The hours of work would be 9am to 6pm with a total of 1 hour for breaks each day.

Closing date:   Friday 19th October at 12 Noon

Longlist Telephone Interviews:  Week Commencing Monday 22nd October 2018

Shortlisted Final Interviews:  Tuesday 30th October & Wednesday 31st October 2018
