Who We Are Looking For

We are searching for an imaginative and passionate Art Teacher to pioneer this new subject at Copperfield International School. This individual will have the unique opportunity to shape and develop the art program from the ground up, fostering a vibrant artistic environment and empowering students to unlock their creative potential.

Key responsibilities will include:

Designing a comprehensive, engaging art curriculum that inspires creativity across age groups and skill levels.

Establishing a positive and inclusive studio atmosphere where all students feel empowered to express themselves artistically.

Collaborating with school leadership to align the art program with broader academic goals and extracurricular activities.

Curating regular student exhibitions and events to celebrate artistic achievements and involve the wider school community.

Integrating interdisciplinary projects, encouraging students to explore art in various cultural, historical, and contemporary contexts.

Providing guidance for students wishing to pursue art further, from portfolio development to creative career advice.

Ideal Profile:

A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or a related field, with teaching qualifications or equivalent experience.

A strong portfolio demonstrating artistic vision and pedagogical creativity.

Previous experience teaching art in educational settings, preferably within international or bilingual programs.

Passionate about art education and dedicated to nurturing students' creative growth.

Skilled communicator, adaptable in building meaningful relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider community.

Committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.
