Assessor in Childhood Studies

Variable hours £10.85 – 11.85 per hour
We are looking for an individual with a desire to make a difference in the Childcare sector. We need an Assessor to join our outstanding and expanding team.
You will ideally have experience of working with a diverse range of learners, and will be able to deliver a high quality learning experience to students on Childcare courses.
You will have up to date knowledge of the Early Years sector, and experience of assessing qualifications in the workplace.
You will have a relevant level 3 (or above) Early Years, or similar, qualification along with recent vocational experience and be able to work flexibly to meet sector requirements.
An assessor qualification is essential and a PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable. You will be able to travel independently between work placements and hold a Full UK driving licence.

Chichester College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in West Sussex. It is a 16-plus institution with two main sites in Chichester and Pulborough, plus further outreach centres in Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. It has links to local employers, most of a small to medium size.
Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, as it was formerly known, opened in 1964. Chichester College has been offering work-based training since 1996. It has approximately 10,897 part-time learners and 3,732 full-time students.
