We invite applications from inspiring and creative middle level leaders or existing senior leaders who are passionate about ensuring all students achieve their full potential. This is a fabulous opportunity for a colleague who wants to develop their career by taking on a whole school leadership role.

The successful applicant will act as SENCo for the academy and so accordingly must be willing to undertake comprehensive training in SEND and associated areas, if they do not already hold the desired qualifications. In addition to the duties of SENCo, the successful applicant will be a full member of the Senior Leadership team with further Assistant Head Teacher responsibilities, including pastoral and academic transition as well as further line management. As well as working with the Senior Leadership team, you will be supported in this by a Deputy SENCo, SEND administrator and a team of Learning Support Assistants of various levels of experience.

National Church of England Academy is a successful, dynamic secondary academy, offering an all-round education for students. The academy began life as a small school in 1788, and has served the community of Hucknall ever since. We have developed from these humble beginnings into the successful academy that exists and thrives today.
