We are looking for a dedicated professional teacher to work with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in creating, inspiring and embodying the Christian ethos and culture of our Church Academy, securing its mission statement with all members of the school community and ensuring an environment for teaching and learning, that empowers both staff and students to achieve their highest potential.

We are extremely proud of all of our pupils and staff and their hard work to create a ‘Good School’ was recognised by Ofsted in January 2018 and May 2023:

'Teachers ensure that their classrooms are purposeful, happy places of learning. There is a buzz of excitement that comes from pupils' enthusiasm about their learning.'

We are looking to appoint a talented and committed professional with the qualities, skills and drive necessary to fulfil this key role.

Can you:

  • Develop good working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure that they buy-in to the school’s Vision and Values?
  • Lead by example, providing inspiration and motivation for staff, pupils, parents and governors in ways that reflect our Academy Mission Statement and Values?
  • Be the exemplar of quality inclusive teaching in the school, ensuring that all pupils develop study skills, in order to learn more effectively and with increasing independence?
  • Work within a team to take appropriate action to monitor, evaluate and review the effects of the curriculum and the priorities of our Academy?
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, adaptability and a positive outlook?
  • Show a passion for getting involved in extra curricular activities and wider school life?
