Thank you for your interest in the post of Assistant Subject Leader of MFL at St Nicholas Catholic High School to start in September 2024. This is a full-time, permanent contract. This is an exciting time for us as we look to further strengthen our MFL department here at St Nicholas. We are an excellent Catholic school with a fantastic reputation for the very highest of standards, outstanding students who are eager to learn and exceptional staff who walk the ‘extra mile’ to ensure that every student in our care lives life and lives it to the full. 

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of MFL with a passion and vision for learning and teaching in Languages across all Key Stages - a highly effective practitioner who will make a difference by inspiring a love of learning in their students. The successful candidate will join a vibrant, forward thinking, and progressive department which is keen to build upon the many successes within the school’s external inspection reports from both the Diocese and Ofsted.

St Nicholas Catholic High School is a mixed catholic secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Northwich, Cheshire, and caters for approximately 1,250 pupils.

The school opened as a secondary modern in 1965, becoming a comprehensive school in 1972. It is a voluntary-aided school.
