Scale 6, Point Range 12-17 (dependent on experience)

37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday, 7.45am to 3.45pm Friday 7.45am – 3.15pm (term time only)

(Actual salary £18,422 - £20,339 per annum)

Do you have good organisational and communication skills? Do you have the ability to effectively time manage? Are you able to work as part of team? If so, this position could be for you.

As Cover Manager you will be responsible arranging internal cover when needed and for maintaining relationships with external agencies to ensure staff are covered as and when required. You will also be required to manage a team of Cover Supervisors. As Cover Supervisor you will also be required to supervise whole classes across all key stages and subjects undertaking pre-set work during the absence of teachers.

The role also involves supervising students in 1:1 and small group intervention situations when not used in the capacity of a cover supervisor; supervising school clubs, students working in the Curriculum Plus Centre, and occasional invigilation.
