Beckfoot Upper Heaton has the slogan “enjoy, learn, succeed”. It is passionate about providing high-quality education for young people.

The school has four key ways to make students' time at school a positive one: it tracks each individual’s progress, in order to motivate and inspire pupils; it gives each student a selection of curriculum choices that are relevant to their strengths, in order to free their learning experience; it gets to know all children on a personal level, in order to relate to them as individuals; and it strives to create a culture of leadership in all areas of the school, challenging students to make their school a vibrant place to learn.
