Clayesmore is a thriving boarding and day school where prep and senior schools nestle side-by-side in an idyllic setting.  Filled with warmth, this co-educational school aims to develop the unique gifts of every pupil, encourage an enduring love of learning and build the confidence to adapt to an ever-changing world.

According to The Good Schools Guide, there’s ‘never a dull moment’ at Clayesmore.

Clayesmore’s ‘all through’ provision means that pupils can step up to senior school, soothed by familiarity, but with a change in staff, timetables and buildings that signifies a new stage in their education.  It also means siblings can go to school together - an added advantage, particularly for busy parents.

Clayesmore Senior School has been deemed ‘excellent’ across the board following their most recent ISI inspection.  A wide range of activity, both in and out of the classroom, gives the school a real buzz and provides a wealth of opportunity.  Academic results for a mixed ability school are impressive at all levels and the highly regarded learning support department offers individual attention, exam strategies and effective study skills - in fact The Good Schools Guide described Clayesmore as ‘caring, happy and successful across all-ability levels’.

When you add to the mix welcoming boarding accommodation, nurturing pastoral care and boundless opportunities to shine, it’s clear that Clayesmore offers a winning combination. A 2.8m Business School and girls’ boarding house have recently been completed and the D&T department is currently being extended. Clayesmore’s range of A-level subjects is also expanding and it now offers Psychology and Photography, as well as new BTECs.  Exam results are impressive for a mixed ability intake meaning it is the norm for leavers to get into the university of their choice.
