Job description

Pinc College is seeking to appoint a Digital Art Teacher TERM TIME ONLY. You will work 38 weeks but are salaried for 39 to take into account planning etc.

Actual Salary: £9,074.00 per year working 2 days per week, a total of 10 hours. Actual teaching time is 10am-2pm.

You will be based at our Aston Hall, Birmingham campus in the Midlands.

The Role

As Digital Art teacher you will be responsible for the engagement and progress of students accessing Art, Design and Craft at our Specialist Creative College. Levels 2 and 3.

Teaching is in small groups of around 10 students.

You will be responsible for teaching and guiding your students through their qualifications, GCSE, AS, or A Level Art, while supporting their SEND and wellbeing needs.

You will be joining a small, established, supportive Team.

You will teach and lead on connecting locally for a rich and diverse learning experience. Experience of GCSE, AS and A level, coupled with a solid background in SEND is essential for this stand out opportunity.

Essential Qualifications

  • QTS/Further Education teaching qualification is essential.
  • Art and design, Teaching Qualification
  • Teaching level 2 or above, post 16 experience desirable

You will be part of a team who educate, safeguard and support neurodiverse students, (16 – 25 year olds).

This will require sustaining of strong partnerships with professional Local Authority teams and the Cultural sector.
