Job overview
We are looking to appoint an outstanding musician and experienced classroom practitioner to lead the music across KS3, KS2, KS1 & EYFS and actively contribute to exciting whole school developments in this vibrant and ambitious department. They will be responsible for leading and overseeing all musical activities throughout the school. The successful applicant will be a suitably qualified graduate who will demonstrate the ability and enthusiasm needed to lead thriving extra-curricular music at the Prep and Pre-prep. The post holder will lead an excellent team that includes our peripatetic teachers. The applicant should be well organised, patient and relationship-oriented. They should also be enthusiastic and conscientious with the ability to be part of a dynamic team.
The post is full time starting from January 2019. Cottesmore School operates its own salary scale, which is enhanced above the National State Qualified Teachers’ Scale. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
