This vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current Director of Sixth Form to Deputy Headteacher. The successful candidate will be appointed on a 5-point range between 5-15 depending on current experience and skillset.


Lea Valley Academy is a co-ed comprehensive serving the multi-cultural community of Enfield and Waltham Cross in the London Borough of Enfield. We are a single campus school with excellent on-site facilities for students and staff. The school is also building capacity across our Leadership Team in line with growing numbers on entry to both our Year 7 and Sixth Form cohorts. Our Sixth Form role has consistently grown in numbers over the last 3 years and have continued to provide excellent outcomes for our Post 16 learners. This has allowed our Sixth Form community to secure successful destinations in line with their preferred aspirations. We are looking for an ambitious and committed leader who will build on the recent successes and play a key role in moving the school from Good to Outstanding.
