We are looking for a vibrant and committed lecturer with the ability to inspire students and maintain excellent working relationships in a very successful English and Languages team.
The successful applicant will provide high quality teaching, hold a relevant teaching qualification, and have a commitment to the delivery of an outstanding learning experience for our students. The ability to offer flexibility across courses within the department is highly desirable.
The successful applicant will be equally comfortable teaching across both our Level 2 and Level 3 English courses but will have a particular interest in GCSE and Functional Skills English: the college is committed to ensuring all students achieve Level 2 English during their programme of study. Previous experience of teaching Level 3 English (A Level English Literature, A Level English Language, A Level English Language and Literature and/or IB English Literature), would be an advantage. As well as teaching, the successful candidate will also have responsibility for a tutor group.
We are looking for someone who works with confidence across a wide variety of ability levels, who is a committed team member and who projects an enthusiasm for this subject.
Applicants should hold a degree or similar professional qualifications and a recognised teaching qualification.

*Non-qualified applicants will be considered but will be paid on a non-qualified lecturer scale.
