English Teacher | Potential Easter start but required by September 2023

Full time (but there is some flexibility and 0.8 could potentially be offered)

We are looking to appoint a dedicated, inspirational and talented Teacher of English to join our passionate and supportive department. We pride ourselves on delivering challenging and engaging lessons where students thrive. The team continually reflects on practice to ensure the best outcomes for all and The Curriculum Lead is an experienced middle manager and our department is one of the most successful in the school in terms of Progress and 8 and attainment. 

Our students are keen and enthusiastic learners, they have enquiring minds and want to excel. Literacy is the bedrock not only of the department but of the school, and our students are avid readers. Therefore, we are looking to appoint someone who is passionate about their subject, who has high expectations and who can deliver excellence in the classroom. They must be committed to obtaining the best possible outcomes for all students by creating a fully inclusive environment. 

Candidates will show a willingness and desire to contribute to the extensive co-curricular activities we offer our community and contribute to our whole school ethos of kindness, care and respect.
