We are seeking to appoint a full time Event Coordinator to join our growing Lettings team based at Worth School. The role will report to the Director of Lettings and will coordinate operational departments to ensure the smooth delivery of commercial activity. The role is also involved in ensuring a successful and profitable commercial programme for the worth Estate in line with the values of Worth Abbey and School.

As the Event Coordinator, your responsibilities would include:

  • working with the Director of Lettings and Event Manager to implement the agreed commercial strategy
  • assisting the Event Manager with implementing the social media strategy of the business to increase engagement across multiple platforms, and assisting with the production of marketing literature
  • assisting with the planning and preparation of the site and facilities for customers
  • working on a rota with the Director of Lettings and Event Manager to be first point of contact for all customers whilst on site, including meeting and greeting, inductions and the delivery of outstanding hospitality to all customers throughout their stay
  • managing the School hire booking system, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • assisting with the production of contracts for clients and the invoicing process.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Flexibility and a positive approach to the role
  • Excellent communicator
  • Adaptability, and ability to think on your feet
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Educated to GCSE level, Grace C or above in Maths and English
  • Ideally experience working on events
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
