CONNECT FIFE’S YOUNG PEOPLE TO BETTER LIFE OPPORTUNITIES

Fife is a place of invention and creativity, that has always embraced new ideas and opportunities. A strong sense of community and connection underpins shared aspirations for our young people: we are committed to doing all we can to enhance life chances for our children and young people. Positive early years development and high-quality education is the foundation for their future success.

As our new Executive Director, you can play a central leadership role in raising attainment and improving life chances for young people in Fife. You will work closely with nursery and school leaders to share expertise and best practice across our family nurture and educational network, with a clear focus on raising attainment and creating inspiring learning environments.

It’s an opportunity that will suit an accomplished education leader: someone who understands the dynamics of leading change within strategic and operational contexts, and who has a well-informed understanding of the current priorities and challenges within Scottish education.

Join us as we redesign our local services around families and households. Our key strategic initiatives such as the ‘Plan for Fife’ and our ‘No Wrong Door’ philosophy are designed to tackle the root causes of poverty, prevent crisis, and give everyone the opportunities they deserve in life.

Visit www.fife.gov.uk/joinus to find out more; or contact Evelyn Dougherty at Solace in Business on 020 7976 3311 for a confidential discussion.

Closing date: 14th April
