Job overview

Would you like the opportunity to work as part of a team of highly experienced and ambitious colleagues?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join our Finance Department. You will undertake a range of duties associated with our payroll and accounting functions, as well as supporting trip leaders with the administration of school journeys and trips.

This role will involve processing orders and invoices across the Trust’s schools, updating electronic and manual payroll records, and preparing budgets for school trips, as well as other general administrative and finance duties. You will be required to liaise with staff and outside agencies, and you will have excellent communication skills. You will need to be accurate and efficient with data entry and be able to assist with the accounting functions.

To be successful, you will have previous experience within a finance office together with the ability to use a variety of IT packages, including Microsoft Office. Familiarity with the Sage 200 Accounting system (or similar) would be an advantage but not essential. You will be proficient in the use of IT, which will include updating spreadsheets on Excel and databases, and you will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be a true team player and able to work with the flexibility this post requires.
