About the role

We are seeking two graduate or experienced Games Coaches with warm, open and enthusiastic personalities, and a proven ability to motivate and encourage pupils, to join the successful games department of our thriving School in September 2024.

The post holders will assist with Games four afternoons a week. We are seeking candidates with teaching or coaching experience in some of the following disciplines - netball, rugby, football, hockey, cricket and tennis. Hours of work will be as detailed in the Outline Terms and Conditions within the job description, but the ideal candidates would be willing to be flexible over hours worked where necessary. There may also be the added option to support our Boarding provision. 

The successful candidates will be involved in teaching children across the school and responsibilities will include writing progress reports and supervising changing rooms. The Games Coaches take full responsibility for leading and running teams, including compiling team lists, accompanying children to matches, and writing weekly match reports. In addition, the successful candidates will each be required to lead and run at least one extra-curricular club for Pre-Prep and Prep school children.
