We are particularly proud of our GCSE Maths team with 42% of learners taking GCSE Maths in 2017 achieving a grade C/4 or higher. In 2016 we were 4th in the top FE Colleges nationally. For the past 2 years, our progress measures for maths were well above the National Average for General FE Colleges.

Main duties include:

Managing the quality of GCSE and Functional Skills Maths programmes
Coordinating staff and resources for the GCSE and Functional Skills Maths programmes
Coordinating the learner experience for the programmes
Monitoring learner progress

The ideal candidate will have:

A full level 5 teaching qualification (or be on a teaching programme)
A degree in Maths or related subject
Experience of leading on change and improving Teaching and Learning
Experience of data analysis and reporting
Proven teaching skills
An innovative and learner-centred approach to teaching, learning and assessment.
