Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher as Head of Art to lead the further development of this well-established, successful department and to teach pupils of all abilities up to, and including, GCSE.

You will have a keen awareness of current curriculum issues and the vision and commitment to further develop and strengthen the department cross phase.
We believe that we can transform the learning of generations of children by having the full range of children on one site led by staff and supported by a community who share common values, learning and curriculum aims, policies, and practices in an all-through school. We are a leading edge learning community in the field of all-through education. We have full-day childcare on site from age 3. This can include 30 hours free childcare for eligible parents.
With a recent good Ofsted and having just moved into a new building, this is an ideal time to join Buxton School.
