HEAD OF DEPARTMENT BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
PERMANENT, FULL TIME.
SALARY; £44,093 - £46,830 per annum
The College currently has over 500 students studying A level Biology, the level 3 Diploma and Certificate in Human Science. These numbers having grown significantly in recent years. A brand new science facility has recently been completed which allows all the science subjects to work closely together. The vacancy has arisen due to the current Head of department moving on to a post in higher education.The College is committed to supporting the STEM agenda and is working with the Prince’s Teaching Institute and schools to raise students’ awareness of and success in science both at GCSE and A level. Applications are therefore welcome from teachers with management experience either in a school or college context.
