Business, Economics and Technology

to start in September 2018.

Full-time and permanent post.

The British School of Paris is a non-selective co-educational school which provides British education of a high quality to an international student clientele. Our location and facilities are outstanding.

After a period of being managed as three individual departments, this Faculty is being reformed to better fit the school faculty structure and recognise the similarities and common threads which bind Economics, Business, Computing, Computer Science, Design and Technology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to develop our learning in this vital area of the curriculum.

The successful applicant will be a driven and talented classroom practitioner who will build upon the considerable success already enjoyed by these departments. It is a post particularly suited to an individual who is considering a future role in school leadership.

All applicants must be qualified teachers with recent experience of the British National Curriculum and hold a valid EU passport or a full French work permit. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills and have a proven track record in leading change.

The school is situated beside a beautiful stretch of the Seine in the town of Croissy sur Seine, in the western suburbs of Paris.  The Junior and Senior School campuses, adjacent to each other on the river bank, include a nineteenth century manor house, indoor sports hall, all-weather pitches, dedicated and well-equipped science laboratories and purpose-built Junior School, which was opened in 2010. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and we were the first school in France, from 2012, to issue all pupils from Reception Year to university-bound Year 13 with iPad digital tablets to enhance learning across the curriculum.
