Ingleby Manor Free School are looking to appoint a Head of History to join our academy in September 2024 on a full time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or current head of department to join a school that is committed to providing outstanding education.

 

You will be an enthusiastic specialist able to teach History across KS3 and KS4. The post represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant and ambitious School working within a fantastic team.

 

We have a high performing History team that offers our students a rich experience at all key stages. 

 

History is a very popular option in KS4. Close to 50% of the 2023 cohort studied History at GCSE of which 87% achieved a grade 4 or above, 80% achieved a grade 5 or above and 50% a grade 7 or above. The progress for the cohort was +0.92. The department also runs trips annually to the European Battlefields.

The founding resident and community group behind the school is called Ingleby Manor Foundation Trust (IMFT), whilst our education partner is Delta Academies Trust.
