Head of Mathematics - Solefield School, Sevenoaks
We seek a suitably qualified, experienced and inspirational teacher to join us for September 2019 (or earlier if available). The average class size is 15 boys at this small, successful preparatory school in central Sevenoaks, catering for boys aged 4 – 13. The Head of Mathematics leads the Maths curriculum across the school and teaches Maths lessons primarily to Years 6-8. Experience of teaching the Common Entrance curriculum would be an advantage.
The role involves preparing boys for the Kent Selection Tests (11+) and senior school tests in Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Mathematics, as well as working with scholars to help them prepare for scholarship exams.
