TPS (Outer London) + TLR2b £5,348 per annum

Required: September 2024

We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Media to take responsibility for Media Studies within our Academy. You will be committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning through the delivery of motivating and well-planned lessons. You will be a reflective practitioner who is creative, research-engaged and unwavering in having high expectations of all pupils. 

The successful applicant will:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner; committed to achieving and sustaining high standards of Learning and Teaching.
• Have a rigorous and inventive approach to the delivery of Media across KS4
• Be enthusiastic about the subject, with the ability to inspire, develop and encourage independence and resilience in our pupils.
• Set high standards within and beyond the department.
• Be fully responsible for the day to day running of the department and strategic long-term planning.
• Be highly motivated and self-driven with the ability to work well with other, high achieving professionals.
