We have an exciting opportunity for a committed and inspirational teacher to lead our Performing Arts Department onto the next stage in its development.  We are looking for either an experienced Head of Performing Arts or a Teacher of  Music or Drama  looking for their next career move. You will have excellent subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum ideology, as well as a strong presence in the classroom and proven success with respect to outcomes. You will use your knowledge and experience to  ensure success for the Department and that this continues to grow and embed.   We are committed to  the professional development of all our staff and upon appointment you will benefit from 1:1 mentoring and have the opportunity to participate in a bespoke leadership programme within Middlewich High School as well as the opportunity to pursue further professional development through DfE accredited qualifications such as the National Professional Qualifications  (NPQs) across our Multi Academy Trust (Sir John Brunner Foundation).

Middlewich High School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Middlewich, Cheshire. At its most recent inspection, there were 701 pupils aged 11-16 on the school roll.

The town of Middlewich is known for its three canals and has good motorway links to nearby Manchester and Liverpool. Middlewich High School was opened in 1906 and has remained on the same site ever since.

Middlewich High School converted to an academy school in December 2021 and joined the Sir John Brunner Foundation.
