At KS5 we offer BTEC Music, CMNAT Sport and Drama and Theatre Studies A level.

As Head of Faculty for Performing Arts at Hampstead School, you must plan, deliver and lead the staff in your faculty to teach a curriculum which is both inspiring and engaging and includes creative ideas, lively and enriching activities. As part of your role you would lead the Performing Arts Faculty alongside the Drama Department. Praised by Ofsted, one of the strengths of Drama at Hampstead is the diverse and ambitious curriculum. Students study Drama once a week at KS3, and we offer Drama GCSE and BTEC Performing Arts at KS4 and Drama and Theatre Studies at A Level. The department offers an excellent range of extra-curricular activities, including at least one production a year.


Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR 1B (Inner London Pay Range)

Hampstead School is Camden’s largest maintained comprehensive School, educating 1330 students (including 300 in our stand-alone Sixth Form). The school is oversubscribed with a waiting list in all years, admitting 7 forms of entry from over 70 primary schools.
