Boarding is a major part of Clayesmore School where we provide a nurturing and caring home-from-home. We are seeking two houseparents, one for our senior girls’ house, Wolverton, and the other for our senior boys’ house, Manor. You will manage these outstanding boarding houses, replacing houseparents who have gained internal promotion to senior posts.
Pastoral experience with students aged 13-18, preferably within a boarding school, is essential. Our houseparents are approachable, positive and warm people who are able to establish a healthy rapport with pupils, staff and parents.
You will also have a reduced timetabled teaching role within the school and any subject will be considered during the shortlisting process.
