Are you looking to take the next step in your HR career? John leggott College is an open access 6th Form College with over 1800 students and together with almost 200 full and part-time staff. We are looking for an HR Officer to join John leggott College. You will be the first point of contact within the college for staff and managers to whom you will give a high level of customer service along with first line HR advice. To be considered for this post you will need to have strong time management skills and be able to work well under pressure You will have excellent organisation and IT skills with a good track record of providing a high level of customer service. A qualification to CIPD level 3 ( certificate in Personnel practice or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. John Leggott College is a mixed, selective, non-denominational, general further education college situated in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. It is a 16-plus institution based on a single modern campus close to the town centre, with good access to surrounding rural areas. There are around 1,700 learners at the college, between the ages of 16-19, studying a range of academic and vocational courses.
The college was founded in 1958 as John Leggott Grammar School. The sixth form was established in 1968 in the midst of a Scunthorpe education reorganisation.
