Job overview

We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Lead Practitioner of Maths to join our dedicated team, bringing with them a passion for education and a commitment to driving whole school improvement.

As the Lead Practitioner of Maths, you will be at the forefront of promoting high standards of teaching and learning across the Maths department. In addition to your subject-specific responsibilities, you will take on a designated whole school responsibility, contributing to the broader strategic goals of the school. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to make a significant impact on both departmental and whole-school levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative teaching practices to raise student achievement in Maths.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Analyze data to inform teaching practices and drive improvement in student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to whole school initiatives and strategic planning.
  • Take on a designated whole school responsibility, which will be confirmed upon appointment, aligning with your skills and the needs of the school.
