Job overview

At The Rise Partnership Trust (TRPT) our mission: ‘love, learn, laugh’, underpins the outstanding educational practice and integrated therapy provision found in our schools. School leaders champion the work of our Speech and Language Therapists and the wider multi-disciplinary team and are fully committed to embedding therapeutic practices within their schools.

We employ a committed and well-establish multi-disciplinary team including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, education specialists and Behaviour Analysts who work together to ensure best outcomes for our pupils.

The Rise Partnership Trust currently consists of three SEND schools and educates primary and secondary pupils with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. We believe that it is a priority for every pupil at our school to have a voice and be heard.

The work of our speech and language therapists has been highly praised during school OFSTED inspections:

“Staff plan activities around children’s interests. This motivates children and encourages children to communicate.” (Manor School OFSTED report 2020)

“All pupils learn life skills and communication in a way that prepares them for future independence.” (Manor School OFSTED report 2020)

“The speech and language therapists (SaLT), occupational therapists and inclusion team all work in unison with the teaching staff. Together they plan each pupil’s targets and support plans across these domains.” (The Avenue School OFSTED report 2023)

“Front and centre of the school’s work is to develop pupils’ communication skills. Staff apply a wide range of strategies across the school. These include pictorials, Makaton and high-tech augmentative and alternative communication.” (The Avenue School OFSTED report 2023)
