Knole Academy is a co-educational, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school for children aged 11-19.

Location

This all ability mixed academy is situated in Sevenoaks, Kent, and has about 1,500 students on its roll.  It is within about 15 minutes walking distance of Sevenoaks as well as Bat and Ball train stations and easily commutable from Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells or Maidstone.

The academy is an 11-19 all ability school with grammar streams in year groups as well as catering for those with special needs and all levels of ability in between!  I strongly believe that happy people (both adults and children) enable success and that through supporting one another we become strong as a team.  We have a very effective pastoral system which enables students to develop whilst tackling their personal issues.

CPD

Our ECT programme is both highly regarded and extremely helpful to newly qualified teachers and all new members of staff are invited to attend after school sessions in order to get to know the school. The academy offers the School Direct teacher training initiative which is only awarded to schools which offer high quality teaching and learning.

Facilities

Our new buildings, which were completed in the summer of 2014, provide us with even more state of the art facilities.

Staff benefits

We offer plenty of on site parking, complimentary tea and coffee, discounted meals in our Dining Room, free membership for our on site gym, free tickets to student productions and opportunities to accompany school trips.

I hope you will also ‘log-on’ to view our website, including our virtual school tour, www.knoleacademy.org and feel that you’ll want to apply.  If you share our values, culture and ethos, we would be delighted to consider you to become part of our team.

Headteacher
