Smart Teachers is recruiting for experienced secondary Learning Support Assistants to join an impressive all boys’ voluntary aided school in West London.  The school has a reputation for academic excellence and is one of England’s oldest and most distinguished catholic funded state schools.  The successful LSAs will start in September 2018, and work 1:1 with students in the Learning Support Department as well as in class. This is a full time temporary contract.

About the Roles

  • Working 1:1 with a student with medical needs; therefore first aid training required
  • Working as a General LSA in class and assisting with Games and PE cover 
  • Start date in September 2018 to coincide with the beginning of the new academic year
  • Full time, temporary contracts
  • Salary from £70 per day (depending on experience)

In order to be considered for this role, the Learning Support Assistants will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have experience working as a Secondary learning support assistant  
  • Hold a degree (not essential) and/or relevant SEN training 
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
