Job Title: Lecturer/Assessor Teacher Training

Location: East London

Hours: 36 per week

Salary range: £26,189 - £40,868p.a.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning, delivery and quality of Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualifications at Levels 2 & 3 and the Teaching qualification at Level 5. You may also contribute to other courses in related subject areas according to your qualifications and experience. A key part of the role will be to plan and undertake observations and assessments in the workplace as well as delivering knowledge-based units in the classroom. You will support learners in all aspects of their course and professional development.

You will have a relevant qualification in the field of Early Years Education at a minimum of Level 3 and a recognised teaching qualification. You will hold qualifications in English and maths to at least Level 2 and a relevant assessing qualification at Level 3 or above. You will have experience of working in a school environment and improving learners’ literacy and numeracy skills in any age group. You will need to demonstrate a sound understanding of the scope and content of the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools suite of qualifications, assessment and related quality assurance processes. You will have excellent communication skills and can motivate and inspire learners and colleagues.
